In a former corporate
life, as Founder, CEO and Executive Creative
Director of an independent branding agency (1991-2005)
with offices in New York and Sydney, Australia, Van
consulted on branding, design culture and advertising
for Fortune 500 clients across four continents. In 1997,
she initiated the agency’s global start-up division
where she led the national brand campaigns for the launch
of People Magazine in Australia,
the Macau International Airport in China and the National
Constitution Center in Philadelphia. Other agency
clients included Conde Nast Magazines,
American Airlines, Sony, Coty, Hearst, The Museum of
Modern Art, NY, Sydney Opera House, Time Inc., Zurich
Australia Group and News Corporation. Van’s

Van is a good example of culture
fusion: Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, lived in
Canada, The Netherlands and then Sydney, Australia,
and then New York, she’s a passionate advocate
of shifting entrepreneurs' brand perspective to impact
the bottom line. When she's not making brand dreams
come true, you'll find her boxing at Gleason's Gym in
Brooklyn. She currently lives on the Brooklyn waterfront
with her artist-husband. |
